This year, Ingredients Russia will present 147 companies from 10 countries: Russia, Belarus, China, South Korea, Poland, Spain, Jordan, the US, India, and Malaysia. Exhibitors will present not only technological processing aids, flavourings, colourings, and ingredients to alter the appearance, structure, texture of food and extend its shelf life, but also technological solutions for food products. Food producers will be on hand to talk about the best ways to use their products.
As usual, the exhibition will feature market leading companies such as NMGK, Scorpio-Aromat, Omega Food Technologies, Ochakovo Food Ingredients, НаDo, and SolPro. More than 30 companies will take part in the exhibition for the first time, presenting a wide range of different food ingredients.
This year’s newcomers include Erakond, a manufacturer of biologically active additives for food produced from alfalfa; Pharms, a manufacturer of dry extracts from herbal raw materials used for manufacturing dietary supplements; Falken Trade (Poland), a producer of functional food products and additives; 100ing.ru, a distributor of raw materials and ingredients; Semargl, a producer of complex stabilisers for the food industry; Eurocebollas (Spain), a producer of processed onion for various sectors of the food industry; Around the World, a producer of natural chicory drinks, and many more.
The ProKonditer area will present master classes for confectionary professionals on topics such as SolPro’s special fats used for starchy confectionary products, and chocolate, glazing and decorating confectionary.
Food industry professionals can select food ingredients, find new suppliers, and get up-to-date information on the trends and prospects for industry development at the Food Ingredients of the 21st Century forum.
For the second year running, Ingredients Russia will take place alongside Dairy and Meat Industry, the exhibition of equipment and technologies for livestock rearing and dairy and meat production, and FoodService Moscow, the exhibition of equipment, products and services for restaurants and cafés. The collocation of the three exhibitions creates a strong synergy and improves visitors’ productivity.
Food Ingredients of the 21st Century forum
The 18th Food Ingredients of the 21st Century international forum will take place at the exhibition. Leading experts will offer their take on the state of the Russian and international food ingredients markets, identify key trends and predictions for 2018 and look into the main trends and tools for developing domestic production and reviving industry potential in terms of processing agricultural products and biotechnologies. Particular focus will be placed on issues of customs tariffs and the legislative aspects of regulating the food market in the Customs Union and the World Trade Organisation under sanctions, as well as issues for companies in the food ingredients industry.
The 9th School for Food Ingredients Technologists, organised by the Moscow State University of Food Production and the Food Ingredients Producers Union, in collaboration with leading universities and research institution, will also take place at the exhibition. The school will look at technological approaches to using food ingredients in production and enriching fat and oil products, drinks, confectionary, dairy, ice cream, fermented milk products, in the meat processing industry, as well as aspects of designing specific products.
On 2 March, the winners of the Ingredient of the Year 2017 will be announced in Conference Hall 2. This year, 10 ingredients were submitted for the competition from Omega Food Technologies, NMGK, Scorpio-Aromat, SolPro, and Soyuz Corporation.
